Destination: Frederick, MD
I keep hoping for a destination wedding on a beach in the Caribbean or maybe Hawaii, however this one turned out to be in Maryland. I couldn’t have been more thrilled though as it was for our friends Brian & Erika. Brian & Erika started off their journey together as roommates, which turned into a little something more and now they are husband and wife - pretty cool.
The day started with a limo ride to the bridal prep location - Studio 509 in Frederick - where the groom’s mother did most of the girl’s hair herself. She also made sure there was food for everyone and assistants around to touch up manicures and give massages - way cool. We then moved on to the ceremony which took place in the gazebo in the Worman’s Mill community. The weather was perfect. In addition to the traditional vows, Brian & Erika also wrote their own, which makes the ceremony so much more personal. The reception was right around the corner in the clubhouse and featured a candy station full of blue candies and specialty beer brewed for the occasion by the groom and one of his groomsmen - the bottles even had “Erika & Brian” labels on them. After some one-sided cake face-smashing, the newlyweds departed in a vintage Bentley with their friends and family cheering them on. All in all - a great day!
Brian & Erika - We love you guys! See you soon.
Here is the highlight video from their June 2009 wedding. Feel free to leave comments for the happy couple. Enjoy!

Oh Cheryl, this is positively beautiful work. I’ll admit that I got a bit of the vapors watching this clip.
Big thanks to you & Tom for coming down from NY and doing this. It’s always nice to see you guys.
Say hi to Tom for me!
