On an absolutely beautiful day in April, I arrived at Laura’s house and met Vito - her oh so cute dog. He welcomed me into the house and we waited for Laura and her bridesmaids to get back from the salon. When they arrived, he was so excited, and ran outside to greet everyone. After a little bit of downtime, and adding “I Do” letters to the bottom of her shoes, Laura got dressed, took some pictures with the little pup and we headed out to St. Mary’s at Siena College - where Laura and Pat exchanged vows (and also graduated from).
After their ceremony, we walked around the Siena campus for some photos then headed to the Albany Marriott for the party. Laura’s sister and Pat’s brother gave two great toasts, then left it up to DJ Paul Malo to get the crowd moving for the rest of the night. He didn’t need to do a lot though, as this group was ready to dance. They had all ages out on the dance floor dancing to all types of music.

Highlights from Meg & Mike’s wedding film…

Back in November, Kristin & Patrick said their “I do’s” in a beautiful ceremony at All Saints on the Hudson, and then made their way to Longfellows to celebrate with all their family and friends. It was a beautiful day with just a little bit of a chill in the air, however inside the party was hot. Kristin & Pat made their grand entrance, started things off with their first dance and their guests took it from there. From the bouquet/garter toss, where a lucky single woman got to enjoy a massaging foot rub, to the father daughter dance that was so fun, to Kristin’s grandfather tearing it up out on the dance floor. Pat even left the bar area a few times to spend some time with his new wife on the dance floor. Congratulations to you both and best wishes for a long, happy future together!

Fairy tales do come true…When I first met Kate & PJ, I remember thinking “I can’t wait for this wedding”. These two were so in love and just so darn cute together. And the wedding? Even better than I expected. I arrived at the church early to set up and get some shots of people arriving and saw PJ’s limo roll up. Out comes PJ in his military uniform (awesome!). Kate slowly made her way down the aisle to PJ and they were both beaming, along with their families. During the ceremony, the priest brought up the ideas of fairy tales and happily ever after. This seemed to be a recurring theme for the rest of the night and the story of their lives together.
The reception at Pat’s Barn was perfect. They had cider and donuts on the tables as favors, yummy food upstairs and downstairs, touching toasts by Kate’s father and sister and PJ’s brother and a very emotional mother and son dance that had everyone tearing up a bit. Then came the dancing which lasted all night long. I think the dance floor was still packed right up to the last beat of the last song.

On a perfect October day, on the patio of the Albany Country Club, Jacqueline & Junait said their “I do’s” (well, Junait actually said “I definitely do”).
I remember meeting Jackie & Junait about two years ago and as they told me about their plans for the big day I thought it sounded fun, but that was an understatement. It was a blast and they included a lot of personal touches to really make the day special. They had a blessing in Turkish (I don’t know what was said but I’m sure it was nice), they had the most awesome toasts by their two maids of honor and two best men, they had a photobooth set up, they had a belly dancer who got the guests out on the dance floor, they smashed stuff on the floor (just one vase really, and it was filled with candy) and they, along with their bridal party, danced ALL night long.
